After obtaining a Master of Arts degree in Radio/TV/Film from California State University Northridge, Sandra Le Blanc-Marissal started working as junior producer for the German version of Sesame Street, then produced by Studio Hamburg Productions. In 1998 she switched to the editorial side of production and became commissioning editor at NDR broadcasting, Department for Youth & Family Entertainment, where she has developed and produced programs from Sesame Street to the Peppercorns, cooking shows and many international TV series (among them Blue Water High, Emma’s Chatroom, In Your Dreams (all with Australian co-partners), Limbo (with DR) and Trio (with NRK).  A five year hiatus from 2005 to 2010 took her to Singapore, where she continued to work as a freelance producer for NDR – and certified museum docent at the Asian Civilizations Museum.
