In November, for the very first time, the PRIX JEUNESSE Suitcase was presented in the Mexican State of Chiapas, at the University in Tuxtla Gutiérrez. The participants were mainly teachers and university students.
On Friday, November 9th, the children’s Book Fair (Feria Internacional del libro Infantil y Juvenil) in Mexico City organized a professional event around Creative Industries. Jan Willem Bult (Netherlands) and Yamile Sandoval (Colombia) talked about how to tell the world to kids.
A travelling suitcase, loaded with the best contents for children, arrived in Mexico in May 2017. Its contents were as valuable as a hidden treasure; a careful selection of programs, short films, fictions and non-fictions from around the world that empowered children and reflected them as active actors in their stories.
