PRIX JEUNESSE INTERNATIONAL 2018 Pre-Selection
12 international children’s TV Experts came together from 19 – 24 January 2018 in Munich, to select the finalist programmes out of a total of 396 entries from 60 countries that were submitted to PRIX JEUNESSE INTERNATIONAL 2018.
It was a tough job this group of jurors had to face: Only about every fifth programme has space in the final round of competition. That meant lots of heated discussions and really heartbreaking decisions. At the end, the preselection jury chose 95 programmes from 35 countries that will compete for the prestigious awards at the festival week which will be held from 25 – 30 May in Munich.
All the programme treasures that have not made it into the final round can be discovered at the festival in the Media Bar, for individual viewing.
