In November the Children’s Media Association | Bay Area chapter (CMA BA) in cooperation with the San Francisco Public Library (SFPL), hosted a special open event to CMA members and the community.

In November, for the very first time, the PRIX JEUNESSE Suitcase was presented in the Mexican State of Chiapas, at the University in Tuxtla Gutiérrez. The participants were mainly teachers and university students.
On Friday, November 9th, the children’s Book Fair (Feria Internacional del libro Infantil y Juvenil) in Mexico City organized a professional event around Creative Industries. Jan Willem Bult (Netherlands) and Yamile Sandoval (Colombia) talked about how to tell the world to kids.
A PRIX JEUNESSE Suitcase event was held at EBS (Educational Broadcasting System, Korea) on 10 September 2018, attended by about 30 EBS children’s content producers/directors and moderated by Executive Producer Hyunsook Chung.
Children and youth from all over the world aged between four and 17 years participated in the PRIX JEUNESSE INTERNATIONAL Art Contest 2018. Almost 400 most creative pictures were submitted dealing with this year’s contest topic „The day I noticed I am strong”.
Twenty-eight art works were chosen for the final round.
