This was the PRIX JEUNESSE INTERNATIONAL 2022
PRIX JEUNESSE INTERNATIONAL 2022 was held from 10 – 15 June, both as an on-site and online event. 440 children’s and youth TV programmes had been submitted for the main TV categories and the Shorts category, by 260 broadcast organizations and production companies from 58 countries on all continents. Info sessions offered insights on topics like ‘sound in children’s TV’, ‘how to talk about death and war to children’, as well as the topic of racism. And of course, the famous Soccer Match and the evening events like the Opening reception, Karaoke Night and the BBC Night were a great experience for all participants.
The on-site event was attended by around 200 international children’s TV experts. Over 400 attendees had joined the online event. The festival ended with an impressive award ceremony in Munich’s Volkstheater.
