In 2020, the world’s oldest and most renowned children’s television festival was only available as a digital edition due to worldwide pandemic. Now the time has finally come again: Children’s television experts from many countries will come together at PRIX JEUNESSE INTERNATIONAL (June 10 – 15) at the Bavarian Broadcasting Corporation in Munich to intensively discuss the question of what makes quality in children’s television.

Founded back in 1964 by Bayerischer Rundfunk, the PRIX JEUNESSE INTERNATIONAL is the oldest and most renowned festival for children’s and youth TV programmes worldwide. Every two years, approximately 500 children’s media experts from all parts of the world come together at the Bavarian Broadcasting Corporation to discuss quality in children’s television and to award the best and most innovative content.
